A few months ago, I was delighted to be asked by Prague Youth Theatre to write two plays for them - Game Over? and A Playground Divided. I was privileged to see the rehearsals last weekend and I am really looking forward to seeing the performances this week. If you want to see more online take a look at their excellent facebook page.
In A Playground Divided a bully has forcefully taken charge of the playground, and has divided the space into lefties and righties. Friends are separated, and games are restricted. Their coffee-addicted teachers are nowhere to be found, so the students must find their own way to restore fun to their playground.
Game Over? is set in a world where people are addicted to computer games and two children must try to set them free. Can it be done and will they achieve game over?
All performances take place on Monday 8th December from 7pm at Divadlo Na Pradle
