The author writes that you need persistence, which I agree with, but I also think you need to stay positive. To do this you must celebrate your successes no matter how small they may be. I have had three this week which are worthy of mention.
Firstly, Monday 20th January was a big day for me. It was the first day that my website attracted more than 100 people in one day - 148 to be exact.
Secondly, I found out that 'An Extra-Ordinary Beginning' is being downloaded/purchased 5 times a day. The ebook downloads continue to increase but my sales of the paper back copy have also gone up.
Thirdly, the final edit of 'Survival Instinct' is finished and will be released in ONLY ONE MONTH'S TIME. What does a final edit involve? I hear you ask, so let me tell you. I sit at my computer and read the whole book aloud to myself over the course of three to four weeks. I look like a mad man and, if I do this in my car, people tend to avoid me. I might add that I am not driving and reading at the same time!
The good news is that I am really happy with the final copy. The bad news is that my eyes are so blood shot that I look like a zombie, but it will pass.
So, no matter what you do - stay positive and appreciate your successes.
