Friday, I am reflecting on the week!
It has been a busy week. Why? I hear you shout. Because I wanted to have everything finished for the release of 'Survival Instinct' before I go away on holiday.
Is going on holiday just before your book is released a good idea? Possibly not, but at least I won't worry about it as I am hurtling down the ski slope trying not to fall over. I think I have everything finished:
In addition to the above I have been featured this week at:
In one of the interviews I was asked, what is the best piece of advice you had? My answer to this question was 'if you want something enough, you'll have to work hard to get it.' This is what I have been doing but now I am looking forward to my holiday!
According to the Oxford Dictionary marketing is, "the action or business of promoting and selling products or services, including market research and advertising." So, this week I made a silly little film to promote the upcoming release of 'Survival Instinct'. Watch it here. Maybe it will be liked, maybe it won't but I wanted to try.
I think I am going in the right direction with promoting my books. In December, there were 3 downloads/purchases a day but in January this rose to 11 a day. What did I do during this time?
My next target is to reach 24 downloads/purchases a day. How am I going to do that?
All the above points read as I,I,I but the most important thing I have done so far is to ask other people for help. Now, I just need to do it some more.
